Nonprofit Projects

I have been involved with nonprofits since a young age, starting with the Girl Scouts, where I developed a passion for service. Over the years, I’ve continued to contribute to various nonprofit organizations, now using my design skills to support their missions and make a positive impact through creative work.

HuddLUp

HuddLUp is a nonprofit organization integrating social-emotional learning (SEL) into classrooms. Their unique approach involves Trained Program Facilitators who work alongside teachers to promote student mental wellness through engaging activities like quality playtime, self-awareness exercises, and relationship building. We have collaborated with HuddLUp on numerous projects, providing video production, social media content, motion graphics, website design, and print materials to help amplify their mission.

Oakdale Fire Fighters

The International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF) and the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) have a partnership to raise money and awareness for the MDA through the Fill the Boot program. Firefighters have been collecting funds for the MDA since 1954. The MDA uses the funds to support people with neuromuscular disease.

Strategic Actions for a Just Economy (SAJE)

SAJE focuses on healthy housing, tenant rights and equitable development. The City of Los Angeles is planning to decarbonize all buildings. Renters will be impacted. At Strategic Actions for a Just Economy, we serve tenants and amplify their voices in policy spaces. This report assesses the impact decarbonization will have on renters. This report will be read by policymakers, allies, advocates, and interested bodies.

Minnesota Council of Nonprofits

The Minnesota Council of Nonprofits hosts an annual conference where Open Window Productions creates videos for the recipients of various awards. I designed motion graphics for these winners, including lower thirds and dynamic logo reveals, to enhance the presentation and highlight their achievements.
